A CSV is fine for a small list of names and emails. It cannot carry notes, orders, files or history, and every phone number arrives as typed. A developer can do all of it, for the price of a project. CRM Importer does the same work for cents, and tells you what it could not do.

What does CRM Importer migrate from Keap to GoHighLevel?

Contacts with every standard and mapped custom field, tags with their categories and application history, contact notes, email history, orders and payments as verified GoHighLevel invoices, and File Box documents. Campaigns, automations, products and saved cards are not migrated, and the report says plainly whatever needs a human.

How much does a Keap to GoHighLevel migration cost?

Pay as you go: $0.001 per contact and $0.01 per unique tag, so 10,000 contacts with 100 tags cost $11. Orders are $0.10 each, files $0.20, notes $0.01 and emails $0.001. Only what successfully imports is charged, with exact counts shown before any card hold. Agencies can pay $997 a year for unlimited imports.

How long does the migration take?

Most accounts finish in hours, not weeks. Contacts push first in parallel streams, then tags, orders, files, notes and emails run side by side. The progress page shows a live estimate measured from the actual pace, so you can close the tab and come back, and an email arrives when it finishes.

Do I need a developer or Keap API access?

No. You sign in to Keap, paste a GoHighLevel private integration token, map your custom fields on screen and approve the exact cost. CRM Importer handles both APIs, rate limits, phone formatting and retries. Nothing is installed in either account, and access can be revoked at any time.

What happens to contacts that fail to import?

They are never charged. Each failed contact is listed with the exact reason, usually an invalid email or phone in Keap. You can fix it inline and retry, download the list as a CSV, and anything still unresolved when the 72-hour fix window closes is tagged in Keap for a follow-up import.

Can I test with a few contacts first?

Yes. Import by tag brings in only the contacts carrying a Keap tag you choose, so a 50-contact test costs cents. Running the full import later into the same sub-account updates those records instead of duplicating them, and notes, files and emails already copied are not charged twice.

Will migrated invoices and payments email my customers?

Not if GoHighLevel's receipt, notification and invoice reminder emails are switched off first. The import page links to the four settings pages and will not start with orders selected until you confirm they are off. Historical invoices then arrive silently, with every total verified against Keap.

Is my data safe?

Both connections use each platform's official APIs with tokens you can revoke at any time. Exported data is kept only to run and retry your import and is removed when your account is deleted. Card payments go through Stripe, so CRM Importer never sees or stores your card number.
